What the Job Involved
The customer had a newly landscaped rear garden with steps leading from a raised patio to a lower paved area. The drop required a compliant barrier. They wanted something solid, but not bulky or distracting from the river views.
We supplied and installed a full frameless glass balustrade run on both sides of the steps, including stainless steel handrails. Everything is top-fixed directly into the wall structure with tracks powder coated to match the space.

Building Regs and Safety
This job complies with BS6180:2011, covering guarding for changes in level and stair protection. The height, strength and fixing method were all calculated for outdoor use.
