Why choose a Sky View juliet balcony
- Economical compared with many framed systems
- Uninterrupted view across the opening
- Low maintenance aluminium and glass
Sky View juliet balconies give you a full glass guard with slim aluminium tracks instead of separate glass adaptors. Tracks can match your window frames so the glass reads as part of the opening from outside.
IMPORTANT NOTICE: We don’t fix SkyView tracks to window frames. While it can be done, it carries risks such as damaging the glass within the frame, causing condensation between double or triple glazing, creating potential leaks, and reducing the overall strength and loading capacity of the system, as most window frames were never designed for this modification. It also voids warranties. We can still provide supply-only kits for customers who wish to drill through their own frames, but we don’t carry out that fixing method ourselves.

Sky View juliet balcony fixing options
The Sky View juliet balcony uses aluminium side tracks to grip the glass. These tracks can sit inside the reveal or be face-fixed to the facade, depending on frame details and the look you want.
Reveal-fix Sky View
Tracks sit inside the opening so you mainly see glass from outside. This suits many new-build frames with enough depth in the reveal.
- Minimal visible aluminium from the street
- Tracks powder coated to match window frames
- Good for slim-line modern openings
- Helps the glass feel part of the window set
Face-fix Sky View
Tracks fix to the face of the structure either side of the opening. This works well if reveal depth is limited or you want a clearer fixing line.
- Flexible for varied wall build-ups
- Same glass and loading as reveal-fix layouts
- Powder coat options to tie into facade colours
Alternative Juliet systems
If the opening or structure does not suit a Sky View juliet balcony, we can move to other Juliet types.
- Frameless Juliet balconies with glass adaptors
- Two-railed Juliet balconies for wider spans
- Lower track-fix Juliet balconies for long openings
Standard Sky View juliet balcony system
The standard Sky View juliet balcony uses a single laminated glass panel clamped into aluminium tracks either side of the opening. The system suits glass thicknesses up to 21.5 mm and openings up to around 3.0 m, subject to structure and loading.
Key features
- Laminated safety glass with polished edges

- Anodised aluminium tracks with drainage channels

Performance and testing
The Sky View juliet balcony system carries test certifications such as BS 6180:2011. We match glass make-up and fixing details to your loading category and opening width.
Our team reviews each project for structure and span before manufacture.
Tracks, handrails and glass options
You can keep the Sky View juliet balcony as a clean glass panel or add handrails and edge protection for extra definition and guarding.
Aluminium tracks and handrails
- Anodised aluminium tracks as standard
- Powder coat to any RAL colour
- Optional stainless steel circular handrail
- Timber handrails available via joiners
- Edge protection strips for glass-only layouts
Glass choices
Glass for a Sky View juliet balcony is usually toughened laminated in clear or low-iron. Tinted options and opaque finishes are available if you want more privacy.
Glass size and thickness are set to the opening and fixings so that loading and deflection limits are met.
Installation and structure requirements
Sky View juliet balconies need a suitable structure to fix into. We review the wall build-up and frame so the tracks and fixings work correctly.
